Nursery have started #LaudatoSiWeek by looking after God’s wonderful world. We planted seeds in the soil that will grow and be a home for the butterflies. We will take care of the seeds by giving them plenty of water. @StJosephStBede #EYFS #UtW #sjsbScience
Class 6 have been looking after our common home during St Bede’s Week. We talked about how we can improve our environment and got to work gardening, starting by pulling all of the weeds up! A great effort from the children 🍃 #LaudatoSi #sjsbCLM @StJosephStBede
If the Earth had a voice, what would she say? #sjsbclass7 answered this big question through powerful artwork-revealing the harm we've caused and the hope we can create #sjsbre #sjsbclm @StJosephStBede

KS1 have been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. We have looked after some caterpillars that eventually turned into butterflies. We drew our own life cycle and explained each section. Today was the day we let our butterflies free! @StJosephStBede #sjsbScience @STOC_CAT

During our annual St Bede’s week, we are focusing on our school as our common home in honour of Pope Francis. We have been working hard to improve our outdoor areas by planting, pulling up weeds, tidying and clearing rubbish. 🏠🌼🌿🪴 #sjsbclm #laudatosi
