Our Catholic identity is deeply embedded in the daily life of St Joseph and St Bede. Prayer, worship, and Religious Education offer our students opportunities to deepen their relationship with God and grow both spiritually and personally. With Jesus at the centre of our hearts, we guide our children to develop strong moral values, inspiring them to live with integrity, humility, and respect for others. Our Gospel Values are the golden thread running through our school life and wider curriculum. Showing kindness to others; being faith-filled and hopeful; acting with love and compassion and always being generous and grateful, are just some of the values promoted, nurtured and demonstrated daily as part of the Catholic life in our caring, Catholic school community.

Spiritually, love and service are at the heart of our faith. By participating in prayer, celebrating the Word of God, and demonstrating our service to others through charitable work and acts of giving, our children learn that their relationship with God is expressed through their love for others. We encourage them to follow Jesus’ example of selfless service, helping them understand that through giving to others, they grow closer to God. We encourage children to see themselves as brothers and sisters, not only of each other, but as members of our wider global family.
