We are very proud of the appearance of the children at St. Joseph and St. Bede R.C. Primary and promote our high expectations at all times.

Our uniform is a symbol of belonging to our school and underlines the sense of community we seek to develop. The children should take pride in their appearance and present a positive image for our school. All items are requires, however school branding is optional. We ask for your support in this matter.

Uniform

• Grey school trousers/pinafore dress/skirt
• White polo shirt or white shirt and tie
• Green sweatshirt or cardigan with/without the school logo
• Grey or green tights or socks
• Black flat heeled shoes (no boots)
• Summer – Green checked dress
• Summer – White knee or ankle length socks

P.E. Kit

Black shorts and black T-shirt with the house coloured logo (Logos can be printed onto Iron transfers for plain T-Shirts). Plain black PE kit is required, however the school branded one is optional.

Green House – St. Joseph

Red House – St. Elizabeth

Blue House – St. Catherine

Soft black pumps/black trainers

Games Kit

• Trainers may be worn for outdoor sport
• Tracksuits are advisable during the winter months (available at Macron or plain black tracksuit)

School shoes must be worn.  Boots or trainers are not suitable for the school environment.

Due to health and safety reasons we CANNOT accommodate rucksacks in school.  Any children with one will have it sent home with their parents/carers.  Book bags have to fit in a child’s tray.  Lockers /coat pegs only have enough room for coats and PE kits.

School bags can be ordered from Macron or from any supermarket/shop/Amazon

For safety reasons jewellery may not be worn, however watches are allowed.

Studs are allowed in ears only and must be covered/removed for Health and Safety reasons.
